We Are All Humans: Love with “Conditions Apply”

We are all humans. We all love with “conditions apply.”
It shows up in our everyday lives — I love you if you respect me. I love you as long as you make me feel seen. I love you when you are loyal. Our love, so often, is tied to expectation. This isn’t wrong; it’s simply part of being human.
Conditional love keeps us safe, helps us set boundaries, and gives structure to our relationships. Yet deep within, our soul whispers of another kind of love — one that flows without conditions, without bargains, without fear.
That is unconditional love. That is the love of the soul. That is the love of God.
But let’s be honest: until we truly touch our soul, until we dissolve into that space of acceptance and grace, we live in the reality of conditional love. And that’s okay. We cannot bypass our human experience — we must walk through it.
Until then, we often live like headless chickens — restless, chasing validation, searching for fulfillment outside, reacting instead of being. We run in circles, seeking what already lives within us.
The journey is about awareness. Each moment of honesty, each pause to witness our patterns, each breath of compassion moves us closer to that divine space where love simply is.
One day, we will stand in the acceptance of soul, of unconditional love, of God. Until then, we live, learn, stumble, rise — and keep moving toward the truth.
